Our Response to COVID-19

Since December 2020, ServiceLink has:

  • Created a fully remote hotline in collaboration with Penn Family Cares to help patients access public benefits and community resources, including health insurance, unemployment compensation, health appointment scheduling, meal deliveries, COMPASS applications, food stamps, and more.

  • Implemented new measures that abide by all COVID-19 safety standards

  • Updated our resources databased to include locations in which patients can receive COVID-19 testing, and COVID-19 emergency rental assistance

  • Adapted training methods to highlight resources used more frequently during this time, including updated information on Philly food distribution sites, how to apply for unemployment, and medical assistance

  • Continously monitored how community resources and public services are changing during this time, and updated our resource database to reflect these changes

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, ServiceLink worked with the following sites:

  • Penn Center for Primary Care Refugee Clinic

  • United Community Clinic (UCC) at First African Presbyterian Church

  • Unity Clinic

  • Dance for Health at Commonplace

  • Dance for Health at Sayre

We look forward to returning to our work in these sites when it is safe to do so!
